Garlic Kailan

As the lockdown due to Corona virus has begun in Germany, it is time to cook more, especially to cook healthier food. This simple dish is healthy and delicious with very simple ingredients. No stir fry needed! Enjoy cooking and enjoy cooking at home!

Total Time: 20 minutes

Servings: 2-3


INGREDIENTS

400 gr              Kailan

Garlic crisp

3 – 4                Garlic, chopped

Vegetable oil

Sauce

1 tbsp              Soy sauce

1 tbsp              Oyster sauce

1 tsp                Sugar

1 tbsp              Water

1 tbsp              Garlic oil


DIRECTION

  • If you have garlic oil and garlic crisp prepared, you can skip this step. If don’t have it yet, you can pre-make it by chopping the garlic and cook it in a small pan on medium heat with vegetable oil (as needed), until it turns golden, turn off the heat. Drain, keep the oil for the sauce.
  • Add in kalian in boiling water, cook for about 2-3 minutes, until its soft, but not too soft. Drain and put them on a plate.
  • While cooking the Kailan, prepare the sauce. Once the kalian is ready, pour the sauce on top of the Kailan, sprinkle with garlic crisp, and ready to serve.
